Natural Justice joins ICCA Consortium members in condemning the violent and illegal eviction of the indigenous Maasai community of Loliondo in Ngorongoro District, Tanzania. The ICCA has since issued an alert that includes disturbing content about human rights violations and violence against Indigenous Peoples. We call on the government of Tanzania to take up its duty to protect its citizens against overzealous troops who were reported to be behind the violent evictions. Read here the Media Advisory prepared by the Consortium.
