Letter to IBRD President urging expanded funding for B-Span, and revival of live public broadcasts of Bank’s policy dialogues

We, the organizations and individuals undersigned, write to urge you to use your authority to expand funding for B-SPAN, the Bank’s Internet-based webcasting system, so that it can fulfil its original mandate. The re-invigoration of B-SPAN as an uncensored channel streaming Bank policy dialogues to the public dovetails with your efforts to reform the institution into a “solutions bank” and raise the Bank’s profile as a center of development expertise.
