Webinar: Post COP27 Analysis, Clean Energy

Natural Justice is hosting a panel discussion on an analysis of COP27 and clean energy. The discussion will be held at 15.00 – 16.00 pm CET / 17.00 – 18.00 pm EAT / 14:00 – 15:00 pm GMT, Wednesday 14 December 2022.

We will be joined by a panel of speakers:

  • Rabeb Aloui, a negotiator for Tunisia at COP27 as well as an advisor and economic and environmental journalist who will share her experience at COP27 this year in relation to her role as a negotiator for loss and damage as well as clean energy.
  • Bhekumuzi Dean Bhebhe and Lorraine Chiponda from Powershift Africa who both were in attendance at COP27 and will share their experiences as civil society advocating against fossil fuels and for juts energy transitions. Bhekumuzi is the Campaign Lead and Lorraine is the Africa Coordinator for the Africa Climate Movement Building Space.
  • Roxanne Joseph, a data journalist and associate of Oxpeckers Investigative Environmental Journalism who will present on the #powertracker tool. The tool collates data on green energy projects.

Analyse de la COP27 et des énergies propres

Natural Justice organise une table ronde sur une analyse de la COP27 et des énergies propres. La discussion aura lieu à 15h00 – 16h00 CET / 17h00 – 18h00 EAT / 14h00 – 15h00 GMT, le mercredi 14 décembre 2022.

Nous serons rejoints par un panel d’intervenants qui comprend :

Rabeb Aloui, négociateur pour la Tunisie à la COP27 ainsi que conseiller et journaliste économique et environnemental qui partagera son expérience à la COP27 cette année en relation avec son rôle de négociateur pour les pertes et dommages ainsi que l’énergie propre.

Bhekumuzi Dean Bhebhe et Lorraine Chiponda de Powershift Africa qui étaient tous deux présents à la COP27 et partageront leurs expériences en tant que société civile militant contre les combustibles fossiles et pour des transitions énergétiques rapides. Bhekumuzi est le responsable de la campagne et Lorraine est la coordinatrice africaine de l’espace de construction du mouvement climatique africain.

Roxanne Joseph, journaliste spécialiste des données et membre de l’association Oxpeckers Investigative Environmental Journalism, présentera l’outil #powertracker. Cet outil rassemble des données sur les projets d’énergie verte.
