Natural Justice made a submission to the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) Working Group on Extractive Industries, Environment and Human Rights Violations in Africa, providing substantive input for developing the content of the Draft Outline of the General Comment on the Right to Environment.
It sets out the normative scope of environmental protection, as well as procedural environmental rights like Free Prior and Informed consent. And rights found in Just Energy Transitions.
