Mouhamadou Moustapha Gueye a rejoint l’équipe de Natural Justice en Novembre 2021 en tant que Community Environmental Legal Officer au Hub de Dakar. Il est titulaire d’une Licence 2 en gestion des entreprises à l’Institut de Management(IMAN) de Dakar.
Préoccupé par le sort de sa localité, Mouhamadou a décidé de s’impliquer dans la vie associative en tant que Chargé de communication à l’Union des Jeunes pour l’Avancement de Cayar (UJAC) et Président dans l’Association des Elèves et Etudiants de la Commune de Cayar (ASSEEC).
Il a été également été relais et Secrétaire Général du Comité communal au programme de bourse de sécurité familial à Cayar et volontaire à l’ONG Jeunesse Et Développement (JED), ce qui lui a permis d’entrer en contact avec plusieurs organisations de la société civile qui travaillent pour la défense des droits des communautés face à l’exploitation du gaz et du pétrole. Mouhamadou à travailler pendant 4 ans à l’association des producteurs maraîchers et au Groupement d’Intérêt Economique (GIE) des maraîchers de Cayar en tant que chargé des affaires administratives et financières.

Mouhamadou Moustapha Gueye joined the Natural Justice team in November 2021 as Community Environmental Legal Officer at the Dakar Hub. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business management from the Institute of Management (IMAN) in Dakar.
Concerned about the fate of his locality, Mouhamadou decided to get involved in the associative life as Communication Officer at the Union of Youth for the Advancement of Cayar (UJAC) and President in the Association of Pupils and Students of the Commune of Cayar (ASSEEC).
He has also been a relay and Secretary General of the Communal Committee for the Family Security Grant Program in Cayar and a volunteer with the NGO Jeunesse Et Développement (JED), which has brought him into contact with several civil society organizations working to defend the rights of communities in the face of oil and gas exploitation. Mouhamadou worked for 4 years at the association of market gardeners and at the Economic Interest Group (EIG) of market gardeners of Cayar as an administrative and financial officer.
