Mohamed is a legal officer at Natural Justice in the Somali Hub, where he focuses on legal empowerment, research, policy influence, and litigation. He began his role at Natural Justice on April 15th, 2023, and is currently based in Mogadishu, Somalia.
Before joining Natural Justice, Mohamed worked as a consultant on various justice projects, including providing legal support through the American Bar Association. As a young and dedicated lawyer in Somalia, he is passionate about helping clients attain justice by offering legal advice on appropriate interventions, litigation, and client support.
Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Sharia and Law, and is currently pursuing a Master of Law (LLM 6) at Cavendish University. His decision to join Natural Justice stems from his commitment to ensuring the protection of environmental rights, advocating for human rights, and standing in solidarity with communities.
