Programme Manager: Affirming Rights

Jacqueline Rukanda joined Natural Justice in October 2021.  She is a Programme Manager for the Affirming Rights Programmatic Stream. Her role is to support the work of Natural Justice by providing specialist and technical skills in litigation, research and policy advocacy and reform and to contribute to the overall Defending Rights programme and strategy.

Jacqueline Rukanda is a lawyer and human rights activist. Jacqueline has a passion for justice, for people empowerment and for equal treatment of all peoples. Before joining Natural Justice, Jacqueline served as a litigation and advocacy specialist at the Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum in Zimbabwe. An advocate, Jacqueline holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights Law from the University of South Africa.
