Dean joined Natural Justice in 2022, initially as a Community Environment Legal officer based in the Philippi Horticultural Area (PHA) in Cape Town. He was appointed Programme Officer in the Standing with Communities stream in 2023.
Dean will be an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa in due course and is passionate about marginalised communities and protecting the rights of those communities.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and completed the coursework component of a Masters of Law at the University of the Western Cape.
