Dean joined Natural Justice in 2022, as a Community Environment Legal officer based in the Philippi Horticultural Area (PHA) in Cape Town. He was appointed as a Programme Officer in the Standing with Communities stream in 2023 and as a Senior Programme Officer in 2024.
Dean is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and is passionate about working with marginalised communities to protect and enforce their rights.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and completed the coursework component of a Masters of Law at the University of the Western Cape.
