Nokwazi Mary-Jane Magubane joined Natural Justice in 2023 in the Southern Africa Hub. She is a Community Environmental Legal Officer (CELO) based at the South Durban Community Environmental Alliance, a partner organization that protects the South Durban Communities.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Management degree, from the University of South Africa. She previously worked in the Infrastructure Planning sub-directorate of the eThekwini Municipality and before this, worked as an Environmental Management intern at the Department of Education.
At Natural Justice, Nokwazi empowers affected communities with environmental legal education, through conducting outreach programmes. She is currently registered for her Honours Degree in Geographical Science.
