Calvince Otieno Ochieng

Research Fellow

Calvince joins us as an Environmental Justice Research Fellow in the Nairobi Hub this October 2020.

His roles include qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation; managing databases, and writing opinions and research publications on core programmatic themes. Calvince holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics from Maseno University, Kenya and has over five years of experience in field research activities including fieldwork planning, data collection, managing field teams and research analysis.

Calvince brings significant expertise from his prior roles as an enumerator, data analyst, and field supervisor on major research projects for different research and consultancy firms in Kenya. He has previously worked on a broad range of research topics such as nutrition, agriculture, environmental promotion, youth, gender, and children. Calvince is also experienced in project management, research dissemination, and public policy analysis and advisory.
