Programme Officer: Extractives and Infrastructure
Angela is a young lawyer passionate about environmental conservation and appreciative of the importance of citizen involvement and participatory rights. At Natural Justice Angela is a Fellow within the African Fellowship Programme (March 2017). She works with lawyers and community paralegals to solve environmental problems and build the capacity of communities to advocate for their rights.
She studied law at the Strathmore University Law School and also attained her Diploma in Business and Accounting from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). In line with her passion for citizen participation, she joined the Information Centre for the Extractives Industry in Kenya (ICES), currently Extractives Baraza, in 2015. At ICES she was in charge of news dissemination on the platform.
